About BUBA

The British Universities in Brunei Association (BUBA) is an association of 40+ UK Universities who each have a strong interest and history of working with the country of Brunei and its students.

Therefore, if a British University is a BUBA member, you can be sure that the University is committed to connecting with Brunei students.

The aim of the organisation is to promote relationships and develop understanding between British Universities and all Brunei students or organisations who are interested in UK Higher Education.

What we offer Brunei students

Choosing which University to attend is a difficult but hugely important decision for any student.  BUBA provides the information you need about:

  • the differences between UK Universities.
  • the locations of UK Universities
  • the Brunei student communities at the different UK Universities
  • how to apply to UK Universities
  • how to contact your University of choice
  • how to meet staff from your University of choice (in Brunei)

Information can be found on this website and the member university websites. Members regularly visit Brunei to attend exhibitions, give presentations and meet with schools.  This means you can meet staff members from your UK University of choice in your home country.  This website will let you know when the Universities you are interested in are coming to Brunei. Find out more on the UK Universities visiting Brunei page.

Any questions

If you are interested in a specific British University, we suggest you contact directly the international officer for Brunei at that University to answer your questions.  A full list of BUBA member Universities may be found here.
